Fall-Winter 2016/2017 Fabrics trends from Première Vision Paris: Denim
It seems like Denim is, has always been and will always be trendy.
Let's take a look at the key Denim directions from
the latest edition of Première Vision Paris:
Soft suppleness: flat or indigo cottons flirt with fluidity. The enrobing softness of Lyocell and viscose blends, stretch and bi-stretch velvety fabrics with a sensual elasticity.
Velvet headliners: velvets shake off tradition! Creamily supple velvets and corduroys; soft and malleable moleskins; skin, suede and flocked effects in knits and wovens; terries and knit velours. Misty prints on velvety grounds.
Lazy sturdiness: in denim and cotton, rustic aspects with thick slubbed yarns, marked weaves. Softened and warmed up heavy weights, ultra-washed or brushed.
Cold lights: light-capturing fabrics, iridescent, lacquered coatings, metalloplastic yarns inserted in cottony surfaces.
The next edition of Première Vision Paris will be held February 16-18, 2016
at Paris-Nord Villepinte, France.
