Chanel presented Spring/Summer 2015 during the Paris Fashion Week
"Make fashion, not war", "Feminism, not masochism" were the inscriptions on the posters of the models from the fashion show of fashion house 'Chanel'. The inspiration for this event came from the challenges that women face around the world every day.
The designer Karl Lagerfeld gave his models banners and megaphones in hands. The campaign is a part of the presentation of his Spring/Summer collection 2015.
The director of the film "The Great Gatsby" - Baz Luhrmann Australian, French-American actress Julie Delpy and chief editor of the American edition of Vogue magazine were in the front row of the fashion show on the penultimate day of Paris Fashion Week.
There were recognized some of the most famous models: Kendall Jenner, Gisele Bundchen, Georgia May Jagger and Cara Delevigne. In the collection of Lagerfeld dominate the bright, almost psychedelic colors. The slogans, that the models were holding, were classic for feminism and fashion. They called on the audience: "Be your own stylist" and "Release freedom."
After the show, Lagerfeld said that his mother was a feminist, but he believes that the cause of equality now turn back. He described the clothes from the last collection suitable for a variety of combinations and urged women to be creative.
"This is not a line that you should wear all the time, it was to play with the elements. Line is not so much about fashion but for lifestyle.", said the designer.
