Lady Gaga has defended her decision to wear fur.
The singer has stepped out in two animal style ensembles recently while carrying a dog but refuses to get into details about why she feels it's OK to don an animal's exterior for fashion.
She explained: "I am choosing not to comment on whether or not the furs I purchase are faux fur-pile or real because I would think it hypercritical not to acknowledge the python, ostrich, cow hide, leather, lamb, alligator, 'kermit' and not to mention meat, that I have already worn."

The wig maker Charlie Le Mindu decided to spice up the already eccentric London Fashion Week by sending some of his models down the catwalk without clothes, only in hot pink high-heeled boots, hats, bags and wigs.
The 24-year-old designer, whose creations are worn by Lady Gaga, launched his label just an year ago but has managed to grab plenty of headlines. He produced wigs in the shape of the Eiffel Tower. At the fashion Week last year he showed a headdress made of real mice and rat carcasses.

Animal activists have taken aim at LADY GAGA for posing in nothing but raw meat for a fashion magazine cover.
The pop star posed in a 'bikini' made entirely of slabs of red meat for the cover of Japan's Hommes Vogue - and campaigners at People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) have been quick to react.
PETA President Ingrid Newkirk says, "Lady Gaga's job is to do outlandish things, and this certainly qualifies as outlandish because meat is something you want to avoid putting on or in your body.
No matter how beautifully it is presented, flesh from a tortured animal is flesh from a tortured animal. Meat represents bloody violence and suffering, so if that's the look they were going for, they achieved it".

Lady Gaga becomes hat designer
Apparently the hats Lady Gaga has been wearing lately haven’t been strange enough for her, so she’s decided she wants to start designing her own hats. How to start doing that? By learning to create her headwear under milliner Philip Treacy.
The singer has applied for an internship with Treacy after the two worked together on several headpieces. He designed Lady Gaga’s lobster hat, as well as her famous telephone-shaped hat.
