Womenswear: Jenny Packham for Fall-Winter 2015/2016

The list of Jenny Packham's fans includes celebrities like Kate Middleton, Charlize Theron, Angelina Jolie, Kate Winslet, Taylor Swift and Rihanna. And for the Fall-Winter 15/16 collection the British designer has prepared a little darker and dramatic collection - in a mood with the cooler weather.

Packham visited Prado Museum in Madrid, Spain, earlier this year and she was inspired by the works of 19th century Spanish realist painter Raimundo de Madrazo y Garreta.

'Garreta's subjects are society women. Beautiful and fashionable, they are confident, seductive and intriguing. Working with oil on canvas, he conveys the sumptuous fashions of nineteenth century style; satin, feathers, porcelain and velvet, with a beautiful luminosity', Jenny explained.

Jenny Packham Fall-Winter 2015/2016 collection offers: lots of textures (satin, velvet, lace), sequins in different sizes, beadwork of crystals and pearls, nude body-skimming dresses, mid-length skirts, long cardigans, sheer tops.

The color palette includes mainly nightfall blue, emerald green and black tulip cocoa, combined with brighter poppy red and paprika orange.
