Fall-Winter 2016/2017 Coats fabrics trends presented at Première Vision Paris
We continue our overview of the top fashion trends for Fall-Winter 2016/2017, presented during the latest edition of Première Vision Paris, with the
key Coats fabrics:
Hairy: plain and fancy mohairs with updated colours, deep wool velour in cashmere and alpaca blends, fleecy bouclés in woollens and fake furs, fleecy knits for really comfortable coats, ultra-supple thick cottons.
Expanded texture: basketweaves with airy yarns, puffed-up herringbones, knit and woven quiltings, light needle-punchings with elaborated patterns.
Outerwear folklore and carpets: warm, enveloping jacquards, supple cottony damasks, deliberately un-authentic weights and behaviours.
Atypical fantasy: Exploiting the look of tweeds and plaids, 'video' interference, patterns semi-disappearing into the material or colour, fused jacquards and yarn-dyeds.
The next edition of Première Vision Paris will be held February 16-18, 2016
at Paris-Nord Villepinte, France.
