Fashion trends Spring-Summer 2012: Prints
This summer will be colorful and full of prints. For those who think "nothing new under the sun" I will say that although trends repeat each year, this summer the patterns on the clothes are different and memorable.
For example, stripes - they are not boring and monotonous, but a combination of thin and broad lines and different colors. They can be vertical, horizontal and even diagonal. We can see them in the collections of many designers worldwide. The Bulgarian brand Daphne also offers original combinations of stripes in different colors. Stripes have been successfully combined with other geometric shapes, which is also very trendy.
Daphne models can be found in Daphne stores in Bulgaria, and online at www.daphne.bg
Floral prints are back every summer and will never be out of fashion. Designers and brands that used the floral prints a lot in their collections are Blumarine, Iceberg, D & G, Mary Katrantzou, Erdem and others. Bulgarian brand Daphne also offers dresses and blouses with hot flower patterns.
Another trend in the prints are paintings of nature - trees, leaves and even vegetables. They are used in the models of D&G, Dries Van Noten and Alberta Ferretti.
Animal prints this summer will be hotter than ever. Beside leopard, snakeskin and zebra prints we can see whole pictures of tigers, birds, cats, lizards and sea creatures.
Kaleidoscopic prints are new for Spring/ Summer 2012. They can be seen in the collections of Roccobarocco, Matthew Williamson and Emilio Pucci.
If none of the models shown so far did not surprise you, take a look at the craziest trend - combined prints. Flowers go together with checks, leopard with geometrical prints, kaleidoscopic prints with hearts and so on.
