'A Royal Procession' collection presented during Lakme Fashion Week 2013
Famous Indian fashion duo Shyamal and Bhumika presented their collection on Tuesday during Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2013 in Mumbai.
It's titled 'A Royal Procession' and creations are inspired by the splendor of Maharajas along with 16th century couture.
Designer duo shows the beauty of Indian wedding.
Women's garments include traditional kalidaars, overlapping jackets, jama-inspired cholis, lehenga saris, fitted bias churidars, swirling ornate panelled lehengas, sensuous saris, ijaar pants, collared blouses, shrugs and kotis.
Menswear offers bundgalas, sherwanis, churidars, bundies and jackets along with colourful turbans.
Fabrics are luxury - raw silk, hand woven silk brocade, velvet, crepe, georgette and Matka silk.
Colors are opulent - flame scarlet, forest green, berry, earthy beige, sunflower gold, Moroccan blue, golden creme, aloe and black.
The gorgeous Bollywood star Dia Mirza took part in the show.
