Women's fashion: Missoni for Fall-Winter 2014/2015

Famous Italian fashion house Missoni known for its colourful knitwear designs presented its Fall-Winter 2014/2015 womenswear collection on February 23, 2014 in Italy during the Milan Fashion Week.

'A very feminine girl in men's oversize outerwear', said brand's designer Angela Missoni about her new collection before the show's start. But the main accent was the innovative way in which the designer worked her textures - mostly via pieces that look woven but are actually knits. It's sporty and boyish, but still kind of girly.

Collection includes: chic pencil skirts in tweed knits; mohair-and-wool coat; wrap skirts in Missoni's signature zigzag prints; sleeveless padded cardigans; parkas;astrakhan jackets; tweed cargo pants; color-blocked dresses; ribbed skirts; roomy trousers; trenches; mohair sweaters; white ribbed thigh high socks; fur details; multiple layers.

Colors are:autumnal brown, yellow and orange plus calming but fresh blue and green hues.

Accessories are: chunky-heeled ankle boots, mini bags that double as utility belts and leather biker gloves.
