Femininity and elegance in Donna Karan Resort 2014

Famous American fashion designer Donna Karan named her Resort 2014 collection 'The L World'.

She said she was playing off the L words: long, lean, lightweight, luxurious, languid, limitless, linear, liquid, layered and most importantly - lighthearted.

Relaxed spirit and femininity are the key elements of the cruise-wear collection. There is something for every aspect of women's life - work, traveling, dates, parties, celebrations, beach walks and so on - as pieces are elegant mix of urban and calm.

Looks are mainly in black, white, navy, nude and shades of red.

Collection includes: layered asymmetrical gowns, sharp blazers, palazzo pants, one-shouldered tunics, bias-cut satin and jersey evening dresses, pantsuits, cocktail dresses.

All the models were wearing one very long tassel-like earring.
