Why hair becomes white?
Scientists from Maintz and the University of Bradford, Britain solved the mystery of white hair.
The substance to be blamed is known as peroxyde hydrogene. The body produces this substance in small quantities and mostly in hair. But production increases with years and the body can't degrade it as fast as before. Dr. Decker and his colleagues from the scientists team explain this difficulty with the dilution of an enzyme. Through years oxygenation modifies the structure of the enzyme, which plays a base role in hair colour, eyes and even skin. Discovery will help not only in the battle against white hair , but also white spots and specks on the skin. BGNES
