London fashion week: leading trends for Autumn-Winter 2011

Black and white

The crisp contrast of this classic combination is always in style, it’s classic, simple and very sexy. Monochrome is one of the simplest, most chic of looks and never fails to gain attention when done well.

If you are unsure about a color combination, you can always rely on black and white, because it is easy for creating a fairly effortless wardrobe. These colors look good on every woman, no matter what is her hair color or skin.

Biker chic

If there is one trend you can’t ignore this upcoming fall it’s got to be the biker trend. You don’t need to have a motorcycle to wear this season’s hottest trend. The biker chic look is back again! Try leather biker jackets and lurex pants. Key elements of this style are the zippers, quilted fabrics in bright colors.

Color explosion

The battle between the black and white combination and pastel tones is fierce, but according to the designers this fall your wardrobe must have room for all of the colors. This year features a rich color palette – the combinations are gorgeous. It is no longer necessary to carry a bag, belt and shoes in one color! Do not be afraid to experiment with combinations of red, rusty orange and mustard, green, khaki and turquoise, grass green and orange.
