Ready to wear Fall-Winter 2014/2015 collection by Elie Saab

Lebanese designer Elie Saab presented his Fall-Winter 2014/2015 Ready to wear collection yesterday (March 3, 2014) during the Paris Fashion Week.

Saab is one of the Hollywood's stars' favorite fashion designers for his unique style and femininity of his gowns. Last proof about that was the Oskars ceremony where Angelina Jolie was wearing Saab's nude hued tulle dress, covered in strategically placed silver beading. But he also deftly dressed the sporty physic of the singer Pink and he made Elsa Pataky, who is pregnant with twins, look particularly radiant in a aqua green dress that accented her expectant belly.

This collection is the answer to the question 'What happens after the red carper?' The show, titled 'Dark Opulence', put a clear focus on daywear pieces.

Collection includes: series of floor-sweeping dresses with thigh-high splits; ankle-length coats; sharp suits; floral prints; shimmering embellishments; lace inserts; mermaid dresses; ombre shading of garments in hues of plum, emerald, black and deep red; velvet looks; a final series with brand's typical sequined pieces.

Saab's accessories includes fur collars, pointy suede ankle boots and metallic box clutches.
