Parisian chic by John Galliano for Fall-Winter 2014/2015
John Galliano fashion house presented its Fall-Winter 2014/2015 ready-to-wear collection on March 2, 2014 during the Paris Fashion Week.
Bill Gaytten's (who replaced John Galliano as brand's creative director in 2011) color palette is muted and the focus is on textures. It's all about the Parisian chic. Gaytten's woman is someone who dresses for herself and only for herself.
This ladylike, trendy and fresh collection includes: fur-trimmed wool coats and sweaters, feather-embellished accessories, metallic accents, lamé tops, animal prints (lizard, antelope, crocodile), crinkled dresses, high-waisted trousers, little cocktail dresses, floor-length neoprene gowns, interjected crystal, knitted gloves, chunky belts, embroidered garments, double silk georgette, light flowing velvet, sculpted silhouettes and detailing.
Color palette includes: smoked shades of gray, pale blue, Bordeaux, pink, mustard, navy, cream, black, cocoa and caramel.
