Sweater dresses and coziness for Fall-Winter 2014/2015 by Calvin Klein
Francisco Costa, Calvin Klein's creative director, presented brand's Fall-Winter 14/15 womenswear collection during the New York Fashion Week.
Warm and cozy are the words that best describe these sweater dressing and knits that look tailored.
Mohair and yarn are main fabrics and patchwork is part of the whole gentle feeling that garments bring. Relaxed comfort, minimalism and elegance.
Costa explained that he was looking at Loretta Lux's photographs of children for some of the proportions. 'It felt like the clothes needed to be cooler, urban; there was this idea of a gypsy', designer added.
Black, white, cream and gray are combined with orange, taupe, peachy pink, green, charcoal, mandarin red and navy.
Collection includes also dark haircalf utility boots, silver wire laces, pins with giant colored beads, sleeveless turtleneck tunic, tube skirts, comforting silhouettes, ultrafine sequins.
