Chloé Resort 2014 collection

'It was about a barefoot attitude - the idea of how you might dress without shoes, whether at home or on vacation', said Clare Waight Keller, creative director of Chloé since May 2011, about the presentation of brand's Resort 2014 collection.

Garments are comfortably tailored and masculine-inspired in beachy colors. But you can find more than just menswear and beach sports - there are also feminine floor-length evening gowns with the Chloé's classic ruffles at the shoulders.

Prints are mostly graphic stripes in black and white or pastel hues.

'Resort has always been a transitional season where people travel. So the clothing has to be very relaxed', the designer added. And the neoprene sandals (close to barefoot) were inspired by surfboard foot straps. 'No, I don't surf, but my children are learning', Keller said.

Collection includes also crisp popeline shirts, layered t-shirts, pleated skirts, wide-leg cropped pants, silk blouses, leather tees, extra-long palazzo pants, oversized proportions.
