Trussardi restarts from the Beautiful Minds. A multi-level collaboration focused on selected talents revolving around fashion and lifestyle. Artistic minds, passionate about the brand of the greyhound’s pret-a-vivre, merge their unique style with the Trussardi’s DNA. The first appointment is the presentation of the Fall/Winter 2020-21 collection conceived and created by Giorgio Di Salvo, Creative Director of the cult brand United Standard.
Jon Kortajarena Redruello is born on 19th of May 1985. He is a Spanish model and actor. He has landed advertising campaigns for Just Cavalli, Versace, Giorgio Armani, Bally, Etro, Trussardi, Diesel, Mangano, Lagerfeld, Pepe Jeans but notably H&M, Zara, Guess and Tom Ford for his consecutive seasons with the brands. On 26 June 2009, Forbes ranked Jon Kortajarena 8th in The World's 10 Most Successful Male Models.
For the new Men’s collection for Fall/Winter 2017-18, Trussardi presents a series of iconic garments from the maison’s great tradition. Tarot cards are the theme chosen to give this collection light and depth: unconscious and universal figures, they symbolize a current desire for tradition and history as well as a thirst for answers to present day questions.
The point of departure is the art of Ligabue and Vincent Van Gogh, especially the agitated lines and bold strokes they used to portray the clothes of the male figures in their paintings.
It begins with a memory: images from the maison archives of shows from the late eighties and early nineties. “Their modernity and airiness continue to fascinate me,” says Gaia Trussardi, Creative Director of the brand. Everything is mixed together and worn in layers. Flowing suits. Fringed vests. Blazers as light as shirts. Safari jackets and duster coats constructed like tops. Fluid caftans. Extra-light suede. The final impact is ultra-chic lightness.
For the debut of its men’s collection for Spring summer 2016, Trussardi has chosen the rooms of the Braidense Library inside the Brera Pinacoteca. The installation conceived and developed by Gaia Trussardi comes from her desire to innovate the way that fashion is presented by combining it with different forms of art. Twenty-three people – actors, models and performers – participate in this event staged in the rooms of the Braidense National Library.

Gaia Trussardi is inspired by a toned, lithe, real figure for the Trussardi Spring/Summer 2015 collection. Rejecting the contemporary culture of absolute virtuality and the disconnection between mind and body, she admires the timeless elegance of athletes and imagines a dynamic and sophisticated woman.
