Elegance and style during the MBFW in Carolina Herrera Fall-Winter 2014/2015 collection
'There is no reference to the past - I'm trying to go to the future!' said world famous fashion designer Carolina Herrera about her Fall/Winter 2014 womenswear collection, presented on February 10, 2014 in New York, USA during the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.
Carolina offers to ladies both daywear and eveningwear.
For days - volume with rounded shoulders on top (to emphasize a tiny waist), over slim skirts and pants in brown, navy and royal blue; for nights - prints in geometric patterns and rusty shades of blue, bronze and orange.
This feminine and elegant collection includes: floor length dresses in fire red silk organza; straight, gray plaid pants with a degrade mink sweater; burnt orange wool pants with a matching coat trimmed with wide panels of sable; soft constructed voluminous jackets with hip-bone length; structured sheaths and dresses in wool, flannel and jacquard; gowns in soft georgette, slik and organza; embroidered crystals; exaggerated fezzes.
The color palette includes also black, ivory, turquoise, mahogany, bright red and cobalt blue.
