Men's fashion: Vivienne Westwood Fall-Winter 2014/2015 collection
Last month during the Milan Men's Fashion Week, world famous fashion designer Vivienne Westwood presented her menswear collection for the next cold season.
She is one of the women who use their fame for a cause and this time the message (press note) was:
'Attention: Fracking is the Big Fight. In England we must all challenge the irresponsible behavior of our governments who are trying to force fracking upon us with no consideration of alternatives. The public must be informed. One thing is sure: At this point in time we must think before we rush into further action to fracture our earth'.
In connection with the cause the collection is in the darker palette with more black (and looks quite wearable) than usual for Westwood's creations. It includes of course brand's typical wild three-button suits and tailored coats.
Collection offers also: duvet coats, big sweaters, tracksuits, metallic zip-front sweatshirt, voluminous padded bomber jacket paired with striped knitted sweatpants - some of them pretty provocative in gold lamé or see-through mesh.
