H&M’s new Conscious Exclusive collection shows what can be done with more sustainable materials, using fabrics such as hemp, organic linen and organic leather to create pieces of great individual style. The collection, worn exclusively by actress and humanitarian Olivia Wilde in the campaign, will be available in around 200 H&M stores worldwide on April 16, as well as online.
H&M is proud to announce that Olivia Wilde, actress and humanitarian, will be the face of H&M’s latest Conscious Exclusive campaign. Olivia, well known for her commitment to sustainability and her engagement for environmental causes will appear in the campaign wearing pieces from the collection. Conscious Exclusive will be available in around 200 H&M stores worldwide on April 16, as well as online.
On October 2, H&M introduces Conscious Denim, a collection with clean styling and contemporary fits, that not only uses more sustainable materials, but also more conscious processes. In a first for H&M, the washes used on its denim have been graded to assess their environmental impact, including energy and water use. The collection includes pieces for women, men and children, and will be available worldwide in around 1,000 stores for women and 700 stores for men, as well as online.
On April 10th, H&M launches its new Conscious and Conscious Exclusive collections. With two new materials, organic leather from the Swedish leather supplier Tärnsjö, and organic silk, the collections show what can be done in more sustainable materials.
This year, at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, Academy Award winning actress Penelope Cruz chose to wear a dazzling fitted flamenco inspired gown designed by H&M.
The new, H&M Conscious Collection, is made from enviromentally – adapted and greener materials such as organic cotton, Tencel® and recycled polyester. The line was inspired by different shades of white, one of the most important colors this Spring. The collection is divided in three lines - women, men and kids clothing.
Womenswear is inspired by an updated romantic style in which blouses, tunics and T-shirts with Broderie Anglaise are a key trend.
