The Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) together with Detox - CID and Greenpeace Italia will present five eco-friendly collections during Pitti Immagine Uomo 96. Following the launch of The Time is Now! in January 2019, the project has reached the final phase: the collections will be presented on Tuesday 11 June in the Corte-Courtyard areas of the Palazzina Reale in Florence.

The global men's fashion supply chain is driven by large brands which dictate styles, materials and prices. Traditional contract manufacturing for these brands operates under price-based competition. In order to break out of this dead end, Richmart, the most modern made-to-measure men's suits factory in Eastern Europe, decided to reconfigure its entire supply chain. The managers undertook a detailed Thinking Process analysis of the supply chain, based on the principles of the Theory of Constraints and decided to move towards a win-win partnership between all parties involved from the wool through fabric, machinery and equipment to sewing factories and fashion consultants to the consumer. At the start of Berlin Fashion Week, seven promising young designers were awarded the European Fashion Award FASH 2016. The 30-year old Olena Koch from Germany is the new Mrs. European Union. She was crowned by Elena Karakoleva, last year winner. Elena was dressed in a black dress from the brand Enzoani for Celebrities 2012. The dress is made from 35 meters natural silk with laser-cut elements, hand embroidered flowers and Swarovski crystals. The outfit was given to Elena from the director of the company Dick van Zutphen, partner of Bridal Fashion.

On Friday, 8 July, was opened the 2011 edition of Europe Future Fashion. The nice atmosphere of hotel Le Meridien Lav gathered fashion experts and people from Split, who wanted to feel the fashion atmosphere. During the first evening famous designers from Croatia, France, Sweden Romania and Kosovo presented their new collections. The show was opened with ballet dances and the collection of Omnia Mei.
During the second evening their collections presented Edor Paris from France, Anemarie O, Mihaela Cirlugea, Maria Hera, Ana Čurić i David Priol.

On September 17 in Europe Hall of the city theatre in Rousse, fashion house Modis presented its collection for Fall/Winter 2010/2011 with designers Valery Gidenov and Drina Pashova. The fashion show was stylish and professional, without a host pouring unnecessary superlatives, and the guests convinced themselves of the quality and originality of the clothes.

The number of the people employed in the industry are correspondingly - Bulgaria /170 000/ and Romania /280 000/. In 2007 Bulgaria and Romania entered the European Union and the customs tariffs were removed. In 2008 the first createurope: THE FASHION DESIGN AWARD took place. In this first year it already achieved great success, with over 1000 entrants, a jury of prominent figures from the fashion world and a catwalk show for the finalists in Berlin in October 2008.

Five of the most wanted Bulgarian women awarded with the prize "Miss" have presented the unique collection of AvonStyle. The collection was dedicated to the newest five-star Avon cosmetics.
The winners of Miss Bulgaria, Miss Universe and Miss Europe who took part at the fashion show were: Tanya Karabelova, Rositsa Ivanova and Yulia Yurevich. They presented 15 dresses of young Bulgarian designers. The young talented designers were chosen among all the participants in a competition of "AvonStyle Academy". Their unique models were inspired by the moto of the most luxurious Avon cosmetics "The real woman beauty is hidden in her individual style".
