Talented Venezuelan-American fashion designer Carolina Herrera, whose creations are always full of pure beauty and femininity, said about her Resort 2014 collection:
'Prints, that's what this collection is all about, prints and seasonless, because there are no real seasons for clothes anymore; in Summer somewhere it's Winter, or in Winter somewhere it's Summer. It's important everything can be worn all year round'.
This pretty and elegant collection is as good for a holiday vacation as for a formal event. On Tuesday, March 25, 2014 First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama was wearing Carolina Herrera Resort 2014 model at the Stanford University Peking Center in Beijing, China.
The Singapore-inspired Resort 2014 collection includes: maritime style, floral tissue organza, palazzo pants, sheath dresses, tweedy suits, cocktail frocks and elegant gowns, floral-stripe jacquards, cream silk.
Color palette includes navy, white, black, carnation pink, poppy red, gray, cream and light green.
