Childrenswear: Lilica Ripilica Spring-Summer 2015 collection

Known as the pre-eminent fashion event for Latin America, Sao Paulo fashion week (SPFW) happens twice a year - once for the Spring/Summer and once for Fall/Winter collections and it's considered the fifth largest fashion week in the world.

This year's Spring-Summer edition was held in Cândido Portinari Park from March 31 to April 4, 2014.

Brazilian label Lilica Ripilica, specialized in children's fashion, presented its collection for 2014/2015 hot season on April 3, 2014.

It's inspired by a fantastic balloon journey over three American places: Nashville, Hawaii and New York.

The tour began with Nashville, Tennessee and brought plenty of fringes, ruffles, leather, embroidery and stylish cowboy boots.

Next was Hawaii - prints were more romantic, recall the beach climate, lush tropical landscape and nature - floral motifs, ruffles, colors and loose dresses.

And at the end New York brought a whole new world - the pieces gave a lot of information for the city life - the signs of Broadway, the lights of Time Square, the famous Yellow cabs and newspaper were printed on dresses, pants and shirts in celebration of glitz and glamor. Leggings, shirts, high waist skirts and straight dresses, sequin backpacks, shoes with metal nozzle, tacks and caps presented the urban style.

Key fabrics: satin, tulle, muslin, cotton knits, chiffon.
Key colors: white, black, yellow, light blue, brown, pink and nude.
