Sustainability was the key topic of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia in the Museum of Moscow. This year, MBFW Russia became the place to collect unwanted clothes that upcycling designers will use in their new collections. For the first time ever, these collections were presented at the Fashion Week catwalks on October 19 and 20. VINA and RigRaiser, sustainable brands, presented their collections based on the clothes accepted during the MBFW Russia in April.

The all-new season of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week (MBFW) Russia came upon as successful experiment with fashion shows from different cities, presented in one online schedule. On October, 19-23, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia took place at 5 Russian cities at once: Moscow, St. Petersburg (635 km from Moscow), Krasnodar (1,195 km), Sochi (1,360 km) and Yakutsk (4,885 km).

Global Talents Digital is also being streamed at 100+ media portals and social media. Shows and presentations delivered by designers from 34 countries and areas of the world are being covered by the largest Russian and international publications, concept stores, showrooms, and others. Global Talents Digital participants present top regional fashion weeks from Moscow-based Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia to Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO.
Global Talents Digital took place online on June 10 to 11. In the first edition of the international hybrid fashion project designers presented their new digital and real collections, demonstrated by virtual and human models. Totally, the show included 50 designers from 20 countries, 8 virtual shows and 38 collections. 8 digital artists and 6 digital models joined Global Talents Digital, the off-season online project by Russian Fashion Council powered by Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia. The event was broadcasted life on Be Global fashion Network as well.
This year Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia for the first time ever was arranged online, broadcasted also on Be Global Fashion Network at video.bgfashion.net with support from Russian Fashion Council and Fashion Fund. 36 brands presented their new collections, 32 of them in the form of video presentations.
Day 2 of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia has finished. For the first time ever the event took place totally online. More than half a million unique users watched the online shows of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia and TikTok lectures on the first day of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia. On average, 30,000 people watched each video presentation from Moscow. At peak times the number of simultaneous connections exceeded 50,000. Moscow streams of young and famous designers are covered by media from Russia, Italy, the United Kingdom, the USA, India and other countries.
Russian Fashion Council has announced the dates of the virtual Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia. On April 4 and 5, with support of Fashion Fund, both emerging and established designers will present their new collections.
