From 21st to 25th of October 2015 Moscow will host Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia, Spring-Summer 2016. The main venue is Manege, located in a few steps from Red Square and the Kremlin, also there are different locations around the city for presentations and fashion shows. MBFW Russia will showcase collections from over 70 designers from Russia, Georgia, Ukraine, Italy, Turkey, China and other countries.
In 2014 Bas Kosters took a step back and went on a quest to find his own 'self'. 'Who am I, what am I about, and what do I want to do with that?'. The designer visualized and reflected on this search in his new collection. But 'PSOC' is also a reflection on the current state of the fashion world. The fashion scene is changing, just like the consumers' mentality is changing. The research resulted in this statement collection.
Last night (September 30, 2015) was the second evening of the fashion show in Ruse, during which was held a press conference 'Ruse - a pearl of the world fashion's necklace'. It was followed by a review-spectacle, combining fashion and Bulgarian folklore dances, presented by dance formation RICHMART. Dancers were dressed in men's suit jackets, decorated with traditional Bulgarian embroidery (shevitza), designed by Rayna Gancheva and Tsvetomir Petkov.
Danit Peleg graduated from Shenkar College of Design in 2015 and has created a ready-to-wear collection, printed entirely at home. It was a graduate project for her Fashion Design degree. Danit is interested in the influence of technology on fashion design and believes that it can give designers more independence in the creation process, that's why she dedicated a year of her life to her 3D printing journey.
